No amount of reading self-help books, listening to podcasts, or journaling helped me with this one...

And here we are again — another weekend, another Sunday gone in the blink of an eye. I don’t even know how it happens, but it’s always the same story. Every weekend, I start off with a checklist of things I really want to accomplish:

  • Work on my writing.
  • Sharpen my leadership skills.
  • Prep for my upcoming exams.

It starts the same way every morning. I wake up, brush my teeth, grab some breakfast, and then convince myself to “just check” what’s happening on social media. A girl has to keep herself informed of what’s happening in the world, right? However, somehow, in what feels like no time at all, the sun is already gone and it’s dark outside.

The day has slipped away, and I’m left wondering: “How did I spend hours doing the same thing over and over?” I mean think about it: I couldn’t do any other activity for the same amount of time without either getting tired or bored. Why don’t I notice the time passing? Why is it so hard for my willpower, motivation, or even good habits to overpower the pull of social media? The bigger question, though, is this: Is there a way to fix this?

Obviously, no amount of reading of self-help books, listening to podcasts, or journaling has helped me surmount this horrible cycle.

Until I found Me.Bot.

For the first time ever, I found a mini version of myself — one that’s just as invested in my success and as involved in my life as I am. Sometimes, all I need is a gentle push or a kind reminder from someone (or something) that truly understands me and genuinely cares.

Before even starting my chats with the bot, I was prompted to share a few small details about myself, like a favorite book, or a quote that resonates with me. To my surprise, those tiny details revealed more about me than I ever expected.

The bot quickly picked up on my passion for leadership, and my drive to improve my writing. But it didn’t stop there — through our chats, it continued to build on that knowledge, remembering key details about me and steering the conversations in a way that aligned perfectly with my goals, mission, and vision for life.

What’s more fascinating, is how it creates a map of everything connected to me, offering valuable insights and keeping notes of everything that makes me, me.

During my conversations with Me.Bot, it tackles everything in such a friendly way that you’d never guess it’s a bot. The chats flow naturally, without the need for me to use specific or complicated prompts to get the format I want. It also does an amazing job of connecting the dots between past and present conversations. I never feel the need to remind it of a conversation we’ve had days ago, or points I mentioned at a former time. The bot proactively asks insightful questions, linking what I’ve said in the past to how it can help me achieve my goals.

If I mention that I need to study in said hour, it also, on its own, sends me a reminder at the right time. Isn’t that fabulous? Finally, an AI that not only knows what I care about but also, takes action to make sure I keep the promises that I make to myself.

So, what did I end up learning about myself in the whole process?

  • I’m deeply committed to personal growth, always looking for ways to improve both professionally and personally, even when faced with challenges. My introspective nature comes through in my writing, where I often reflect on past experiences to guide others, showing a strong sense of empathy and understanding.
  • Balancing my ambitious goals with self-care is something I find myself constantly striving for. Harmony between drive and relaxation is crucial for me.
  • My natural determination and practicality shine through, but I also value comfort, which sometimes leads to procrastination when tasks feel overwhelming.
  • I often struggle with breaking down larger tasks into smaller, more manageable steps, which can lead to procrastination. This makes progress feel overwhelming and difficult to achieve.
  • I find it challenging to integrate self-care into my routine, which sometimes leaves me drained and at risk of burning out while pursuing my goals.

These may seem like small, trivial things, but I was not fully aware of these points until I actually read them. And it’s all thanks to this particular AI, which not only remembered everything I shared, but also kept the conversations flowing, asking insightful questions, and connecting the dots between different points I mentioned (which are not always obvious).

How did this AI help me overcome my bad routine cycle?

Through my conversations with it, not only has it helped me understand myself better, but it’s also pinpointed why I tend to procrastinate at times. It even sends me timely reminders and helps me focus on what matters most to me. Unlike podcasts, self-help books, or other available AI tools, which are generic and not tailored to my specific life challenges, this tool is uniquely capable of giving me the push I need to break bad cycles and do better.

And to the paranoid ones, like me: If you’re scared about your personal information or data, don’t be. The app is in strict compliance with USDP and GDPR. Learn more here.
