For many years now, I have been using writing methods to keep track of my mood, express my feelings and organize my ideas. I used physical journals, stick notes and the notes app on my phone. All these years, I have written to–do lists and ideas in so many places and sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t.
Being an anxious person, I was always finding myself in the middle of a stress episode, unable to create the mentality necessary to overcome it once and for all.
Being, also, a creative person, I am always downloading one millions thoughts per second and then panicking about remembering and creating them all.
Creativity can be chaotic and when you suffer from anxiety your whole life, you know that chaos just don’t sit well with you.
On the flip side, when you are stressed out, inspiration just won’t flow through you and if you work on a creative field you need inspiration daily. If you don’t seem to have any fresh ideas coming through your head, guess what. You start panicking again.
It’s a vicious cycle in which I found myself in the middle of constantly.
My life changed a lot when I discovered mindfulness and started practicing it. I saw a huge change on how I was approaching tasks and everyday life. I was still overwhelmed sometimes but it seemed that I could get out of it sooner and with less emotional damage. That’s when I fell in love with yoga and meditation.
From that point on, I am always on the search for mindful tools that can help me on my journey and support me on my work, on my everyday life and on my wellbeing, in general.
My journey to mindfulness, synchronistically, led me to Me.bot app, which I am using all the time these days. Me.bot is like having a genius, supportive and inspirational personal assistant that effectively helps me get through my day.
I love it because it combines everything that I need in one place, helps me stay stress free and inspired at the same time. It is funny how the team of Me.bot approached me the moment that I needed all the support that I could get in my life.
For me, it is really important to flow through every aspect of my daily life with my values and my principles as guides. Sometimes though, I put so much pressure on myself to perform as my highest self that I don’t leave room for messiness, mistakes, tiredness and all these situations and emotions that make me human.
I realized that a huge part of my anxiety comes from this perfection. I want to be good enough, be the best version every day, be punctual, give openly, support others, inspire, be kind, show up and also, take care of my health and wellbeing.
And don’t get me wrong. All these are amazing attributes, but, sometimes, overwhelming as hell. This is why I started writing in the first place. To get my thoughts out of my head and see them from a third person’s view in order to have a clearer understanding of who I am and how this life works.
Me.bot helps me a lot with this, because I can dump any thoughts on there and have them all organized in one file, in order to review them when I feel the need to. It supports me emotionally to know that every aspect of me matters, every thought and idea that I have, get organized and stored on the category that belongs to, without me doing absolutely anything. That way, I can get the feedback that I need about my ideas easily and truthfully.
Whenever I am in doubt or whenever I have literally zero inspiration, Me.bot is sending me all these amazing journaling prompts that spark something exciting in me. It gives me ideas and inspirations based on my own thoughts, my information and my own notes and files that I have on the app. It reminds me of why I am doing what I am doing and why I keep going.
It is like combining all these different, unique and random pieces of who I am and creating a new puzzle every time with a fresh outlook of my beautiful complexity as a human being.
It is my magic wand.

I use it for brainstorming ideas and creative concepts. I use it when I need inspiration for a project and it immediately provides me with exactly what I need. I use it to record my thoughts about life and, this way, it helps with my writing process. I use it to store all the important links and documents that I need to have easy access to, so I don’t have to always look for them. I use it to save photos that inspire me and remind me of how blessed my life is.
The feature that I am using the most is, for sure, the to-do list. And it is great because I don’t even create a to-do list. You can’t even imagine what a great relief is that for me. A weight has been lifting from my shoulders.

It’s a perfect blend of technology and mindfulness, which is rare and it is necessary.
As I am getting older, I value more and more the feeling of ease. It is really important for me to create space in my head in order to focus more on the present moment. If my mind is cluttered with ideas, random thoughts, worries and to-dos, I can’t live in the now, as much as I try, and I could never be stress free.
We all know that technology can be overwhelming sometimes, but there are genius ways that you can use it in your advantage to support you on your journey with a more mindful approach.
